iPhone 6 And iPhone 6 Plus On Ting

Ting, a virtual operator, has now offered its “pay for what you use plan” on new cellular phone models such as the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. Unlocked iPhones will now be available for activation on Ting provided that they were previously tweaked for the Sprint network. This means that you can make use of your iPhone 5s or 5c on Ting as long as they were previously used on the Sprint network.

As compared to previous iPhone models before, Ting is getting the iPhone 6 much sooner than it previously did the others. To some, this is the reason why the iPhone 6 is the best ting iphone that is available today. More good news for users is that Ting would now start to support other GSM phones. This means that it would be easier to activate the new mobile phone on Ting immediately without having to go through the previous activation process that previous models did.

More About Ting

Ting, unlike any other service provider, doesn’t carry any network. It provides its services by purchasing data capacity, SMS as well as voice on an operator who has their own wireless towers. For several years now, Ting has been using the CDMA and 4G networks of Sprint. It was just recently that they added the GSM carrier so that they can have access to the 2G, 3G as well as the LTE and HSPA data networks.

With the GSM availability, a lot of customers would be more satisfied because it would be easier for them to use and buy the devices that they want on Ting. Before, only those old Sprint phones that have ended their contract with Sprint can be used. There was even a time when Sprint had restrictions placed on their devices that doesn’t allow the latest smartphones to be used by Ting until a year or a few months after its release to the public. Luckily, new rules have pushed Sprint to change this kind of policy because it is now required to unlock the devices once they are already been paid off by their customers.

Now that the GSM is here for Ting, the customers will no longer need to do a lot of things before they can use Ting. It is now easier for them to activate Ting on their phone because it is already been unlocked by Sprint, provided that they have already paid off the mobile phone they intend to use for Ting. Now, activating Ting on your mobile phone is as easy as inserting the Ting SIM card into an unlocked GSM phone that supports the frequencies offered by T-Mobile, which is most if not all the available phones sold in the U.S. It is also now possible for the customers of Ting to buy their mobile phones on third party retailers or directly from Apple, or any other brand of mobile phone they want. Ting actually prefers their customers to buy their own phones because it main goal is to provide the service and not the hardware.
